Welcome to our Pilates Wellness Events and Workshop page. These special occasions are designed to enrich your experience with us and your Pilates practise. Each event or workshop will centre on a theme we know will mean something to our members, blending mindful movement on the mat or in our apparatus studio with insightful talks from our studio team or visiting experts. These rejuvenating experiences will refresh both body and mind. Our goal is for you to leave each event feeling relaxed, informed, and even a few treats to take home.

Move Beyond Pain: A Restorative Workshop

Join us for an informative and uplifting workshop at The Pilates Studios at Lavant House. Learn what mechanisms drive chronic pain, pain expectation and fear avoidance, and how to reframe and take control of pain. Our expert presenters will guide you through practical exercises and proven techniques aimed at alleviating pain, build resilience, and restoring confidence in your body.

We are also thrilled to welcome renowned physiotherapist and Clinical Pilates expert Trish Formby as our special guest presenter. Trish is a leading sports physiotherapist, rehabilitation specialist, and the author of Body Fit, Body Fix. Her pioneering clinic in Kensington, London, was one of the first to integrate manual therapy with Clinical Pilates - setting a new standard in holistic rehabilitation.

Over the years, Trish has worked with a diverse clientele including elite athletes, actors, musicians, artists, busy professionals, parents, and retirees - supporting people of all ages and backgrounds through a wide range of physical challenges. Now practicing from her boutique home studio, she continues to blend empathy, expertise, and empowerment in every session.

Her recently published book, Body Fit, Body Fix, reflects her passionate belief that education and exercise are vital components of long-term wellbeing. In her special presentation during the workshop, Trish will share practical insights and actionable advice to help you take charge of your own recovery journey.
